Manual gives ONE overall height ceiling for the whole seat — 49″ (124 cm) or less — not split by mode, so no per-mode height range is published. Forward-facing recommended at 2 years or older. Do not use if more than 10 years old (checked against the stamped manufacture-date label).
Diono Radian 3R: All-in-one (rear-facing → forward-facing harness → high-back booster; no backless mode found in manual). Forward-facing floor is genuinely higher than the Radian 3RXT/3QXT siblings — manual: "infants who weigh less than 26.5 lb (12 kg) AND are under 1 year old MUST use this child restraint rear-facing" (both conditions apply).
