2025-04-22 — Choking Hazard from Foam in Child Seat Headrest
Dorel Juvenile Group (Dorel) is recalling certain Safety 1st Grow & Go Sprint child seats. The included model numbers are CC321GYU, CC321GYUD, CC321GYY, CC321GYYD, CC321HAO, and CC321HAR. The headrest foam pad is not adequately secured, which can allow a child to pick off pieces of foam.
Risk: Pieces of foam can present a choking hazard to a child, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy: Dorel will mail a replacement headrest pad assembly kit, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 31, 2025. Owners may contact Dorel's customer service at 1-877-657-9546 or [email protected].

2025-03-12 — Incorrect Height Range on Label/FMVSS 213
Dorel Juvenile Group (Dorel) is recalling certain Safety 1st Comfort Ride 3-in-1, Boost & Go 3-in-1, Boost & Go Essential 3-in-1, and MagicSquad 3-in-1 harness booster child seats. Please refer to Dorel's recall report for specific model numbers. The forward-facing installation label incorrectly states the height range. As such, these child seats fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 213, "Child Restraint Systems."
Risk: An incorrect label may result in an improperly restrained child, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.
Remedy: Dorel will mail owners a new label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 4, 2025. Owners may contact Dorel's customer service at 1-877-657-9546 or [email protected].

2023-03-03 — Child Seat Lower Anchor Failure/FMVSS 213
Dorel Juvenile Group (Dorel) is recalling certain Safety 1st onBoard 35 Secure Tech, Safety 1st Secure Tech Infant Base, Maxi-Cosi Coral XP, Maxi-Cosi Mico XP Max, Maxi-Cosi Mico XP, Maxi-Cosi Mico Luxe+, and Maxi-Cosi Infant Base child seats. Please refer to Dorel's recall report for specific model numbers. The lower seat anchors used to secure the child seat base may fail, allowing the child seat to detach. As such, these child seats fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 213, "Child Restraint Systems."
Risk: A detached child seat may not properly restrain the occupant, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.
Remedy: Owners are advised to only secure their child seat(s) with the vehicle belt restraint system until the seat is remedied. Dorel will mail a replacement base to owners, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 6, 2023. Owners may contact Dorel customer service at 1-877-657-9546 or [email protected].

2011-06-24 — Label/Incorrect Installation Diagram
Dorel Juvenile Group (DJG) is recalling certain Safety 1st Complete Air LX (models CC050xxx), Safety 1st Complete Air SE (models CC051xxx), and Safety 1st Alpha Omega Elite (models 22187xxx , 22465xxx ,CC033xxx , and CC046xxx), and Eddie Bauer Deluxe 3 in 1 convertible (models 22790xxx , and CC046xxx) child restraint systems manufactured from July 20, 2010, through May 18, 2011. [Note: The 'xxx' at the end of each model number represents different color options that each seat could be.] The rear facing belt path installation arrows are incorrect and could be potentially construed as pointing toward the forward facing vehicle belt path location. Therefore, the affected seats fail to conform to the labeling requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 213, "Child Restraint Systems."
Risk: If the child seat is not installed properly, the child may be injured in the event of a crash.
Remedy: DJG will notify registered owners and provide free label kits consisting of modified labels which will correct the potential inconsistent information and instructions as to the proper installation of the restraint, free of charge. Risk: IF THIS OCCURS, THE RESTRAINT CAN FALL, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN INJURY TO THE CHILD.

IF THE HARNESS IS NOT PROPERLY TIGHTENED, THE INFANT SEAT CAN EXPERIENCE WEB MOVEMENT OR WEB CREEP. IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THE GB1B LINE CODE LOCATED NEXT TO THE MODEL NUMBER ON THE CHILD RESTRAINT INDICATES THE UNIT WAS MANUFACTURED BY GOOD BABY PRODUCTS AND IS THE ONLY LINE INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. ANY LINE CODE OTHER THAN GB1B, SUCH AS DE1B, IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL.
Risk: IF WEB CREEP WERE TO OCCUR, IN THE EVENT OF A VEHICLE CRASH, THE CHILD COULD MOVE TOO FAR FORWARD, POSSIBLY INCREASING THE RISK OF INJURY.

Risk: IF THE CHILD IS NOT PROPERLY BUCKLED INTO THE SEAT, THE CHILD CAN FALL OUT IF THE CARRIER, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN INJURIES.
